Scrambledough
One of two small towns in the South Forest along the Established Road between Nordwall and Hodoronk, near the Temple of Primordial Evil. The other is Bulb.
Scrambledough occupies a legal gray zone — nominally under Free Cities jurisdiction, effectively ungoverned. The town grew slowly after ~3200 AR, around the temple's strange energies seeping into the surrounding land. It has never been particularly clean, particularly safe, or particularly governed.
The Scrambledough Seven takes its name from this town.
The Ember Testament designates Scrambledough as a soft target for cult infiltration, using dependency and whisper methods (internal codename: Moatlight). Border settlements in legal gray zones are ideal for this approach — no one is watching closely enough to notice the slow rot. This is already in progress in 4724–4725.
